Our New Home: Don Bosco Youth Center opens its doors to Dream Big Pilipinas

Aug 12 – Dream Big Pilipinas held its first training session at the football grounds of Don Bosco School Mandaluyong to mark the start of the partnership created with the Don Bosco Youth Center (DBYC). The alliance aims to enrich the football and youth development program for the nearby communities in Mandaluyong City.
The partnership involves re-examining the youth development programs in place and jointly finding ways to increase its effectiveness with participants. The scope goes beyond just helping kids acquire new knowledge and skills in sports. Integrated in the sports programs, values formation should effectively instill in the kids the needed attitudes and behaviors to become men/women of integrity and service.
The first session was capped off with an exciting friendly match between the select teams from DBYC and Dream Big Pilipinas 12s and 14s, which ended in a 1-1 draw.
